International Services Trips

The first group of Good News Volunteers traveled to the West Indies in 1983 to start a legacy of hands-on volunteering and relationship building that has continued ever since.  While the most tangible service has been home construction and painting, other support includes craft work, tutoring, music, or other teaching in schools.  Click here to learn more.

Local Community Building

Local volunteers are the backbone of Good News Project.  They are instrumental in keeping our operational costs low by accomplishing tasks such as office assistance, fundraising, bulk mailings, electronic recycling, yard and garden maintenance and Health Equipment Lending Program upkeep.  Click here to learn more.

Global Community Building

Short-Term Service – GNP offers opportunities for volunteers who are willing to share their time and talents, but are unable to spend years in the Peace Corps or similar volunteer organizations. We work in three countries in the West Indies: St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Dominica, in cooperation with church, government and civic leaders, serving almost 200 schools, clinics, hospitals and institutions.
